School History

Anderson Primary School was established in 2000 as a merger of three schools in Ang Mo Kio: Ang Mo Kio North Primary, Hong Dao Primary and Li Hua Primary. The school was accorded the Learning for Life Programme in Sports and Outdoor Education in 2014 and Learning for Life Programme in Music and Performing Arts in 2015. Anderson Primary School also completed its PRIME upgrading in 2015. The following year, Anderson Primary School became a single-session school.

2014

Accorded Learning for Life Programme in Sports and Outdoor Education.

2015

Completion of PRIME upgrading.


2016

A: (the stylised)-Looks like the Chinese character (人) which means people. It is set against a globe with a red line for the Equator, a reminder of Singapore's location on the map.

Globe: signifies the global outlook of our students.

Red: represents the brotherhood and courage of all Andersonians.

Blue: exemplifies the school's effort to perpetuate moral values.

Yellow: symbolizes the noble character of all Andersonians.
