School History
Clementi North Primary School was established in January 1983 in Clementi estate. Initially it shared the premises with Jin Tai Primary School. In 1984, the school moved to its own premises.
On 28 May 1990, the school participated in the National Cheers Singapore Competition and won the second prize.
In 1994, Clementi North Primary School became a single-session school. In 1998, Jin Shan Primary School merged with Clementi North Primary School.
In January 2001, Clementi North Primary School merged with Clementi Town Primary School to become Clementi Primary School.

School Motto
Strive To Excel
School Crest
White represents dignity, purity and diligence. Red represents ambition, strength and endurance. Brown represents effort, perseverance and unity.
The crest takes the shape of a shield with the name of the school at the top against a white background. The centre portion consists of a hand holding a burning torch against a brown background. The motto of the school, “Strive to Excel”, is reflected at the bottom. Surrounding the motto is a scroll of honour and achievements.
The flaming torch represents education, which will brighten students’ future. The red flame signifies the burning desire to strive in order to progress and serves to remind us that education is an ongoing process.
