School History
Established in 1923, Geylang Primary School was originally known as Geylang English School. The school was located between Lorong 21 and Lorong 23 Geylang.
In 1984, Geylang English School merged with Geylang West Primary School to form Geylang Primary School. In 1988, the amalgamated Geylang Primary School was closed.
From the 1990s to 2004, the former site of the school was used by the Pertapis Education and Welfare Centre. Since 2004, the former site of Geylang Primary School has been used by the HighPoint Community Services Association (HCSA).
