School History

Established in 1975, Membina Primary School was situated at the junction of Jalan Membina and Jalan Bukit Merah. It was the first school with a contemporary design, constructed under the Education Ministry’s School Building Programme. It had 1817 pupils at the time of opening.  

In 1990, Membina Primary School took in students from Tiong Bahru Primary School when the latter closed. 

Membina Primary School was closed in 1996.
