School History

Permaisura Primary School was officially established in 1965 as an integrated school with both English and Malay streams.  

In 1992, Permaisura Primary School closed  and merged with  New Town Primary School. Additionally, New Town Primary School took over the former campus of Permaisura Primary School until 2009. From 2011 to 2020, the Ministry of Education (MOE) Heritage Centre was housed in the former campus of Permaisura Primary School.
