School History
Queenstown Primary School was established in 1956. It became an English-medium primary school with Chinese and Tamil as second languages in 1959.
In 1984, Queenstown Primary School merged with Birkhall Road Primary School. Queenstown Primary School took in students from schools that had closed: Margaret Drive Primary School in 1987, Belvedere Primary School in 1991 and Hua Yi Primary School in 1992. In 1999, the school underwent PRIME upgrading. In 2002, Queenstown Primary School merged with Mei Chin Primary School and Tanglin Primary School, with the resultant school named Queenstown Primary School. In 2010, the school underwent PERI upgrading.
Queenstown Primary School was accorded the Learning for Life Programme, ‘Connecting the heARTs with ARTs’.

School Motto
Onward to Success
School Crest
The school crest comprises three jewels on a crown. It symbolises the fresh new dynamism of Queenstown Primary School. The three jewels represent the three primary schools – Mei Chin, Queenstown and Tanglin – that merged to form the crown, Queenstown Primary School.
The school colours are blue, green and red. Blue signifies peace and tranquillity in the school. Green signifies growing of young minds and developing their capabilities and competencies. Red signifies their passion for learning and the love they have for the nation.
The initials ‘QtPS’ represent the school’s three aspirations: quest for knowledge, progress, and strength of character.
