School History
Springdale Primary School is situated in the north-eastern part of Singapore. It is one of the seven new primary schools that commenced operations in January 2013. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to deliver holistic education to every Springdalite joining the school.

2013 | Establishment of Springdale Primary School with first intake of seven Primary One classes. |
2014 | Official opening of Springdale Primary School by Dr Lam Pin Min, Minister of State, Ministry of Health, on 14 November 2014. |
2015 | Embarked on the Applied Learning Programme (ALP) featuring its Out-of-Door Education Programme. |
2018 | Graduation of first batch of students. |
2019 | Repositioned the Applied Learning Programme (ALP) to focus on the teaching of critical and inventive thinking - Nurturing Empathetic Change Makers. |
2020 | Embarked on the Learning for Life Programme (LLP) - Nurturing Leaders with a Heart (Student Leadership). |
School Crest
The school crest features a dignified eagle shaped like the letter ‘S’, representing Springdale Primary School (康德小学). Through opportunities and challenges, the school remains steadfast and true to its purpose. The eagle signifies Springdalites soaring high with a relentless drive.
The wavy blue strokes resemble a river gushing forth in spring, the season when a new lease of life begins. As the river meanders, it brings renewal and growth to the surrounding area. This exemplifies the potential of Springdalites as they journey through the various terrains in life, carving out valleys and canyons, leaving their mark wherever they tread.
The three-leaf shamrock represents the shared responsibility of the home-school-community collaboration in nurturing the whole child.
