School History
Established in 1950, Tanjong Rhu Boys’ School was located at Meyer Road next to Tanjong Rhu Girls’ School. In the 1960s, it relocated to Tanjong Rhu Road.
In 1984, Tanjong Rhu Boys’ School merged with Tanjong Rhu Integrated Primary School and Tanjong Rhu Girls’ School to form a new Tanjong Rhu Primary School. The amalgamated school was housed on the grounds of Tanjong Rhu Girls’ School and Tanjong Rhu Boys’ School.
The building of the former Tanjong Rhu Integrated Primary School was leased out. Tanjong Rhu Primary School was eventually closed in 1989 to make way for Dunman High School, which continues to occupy the site till today.

School song unavailable
Nineteen fifty, we remember our boys of every race met to study
Of different races we may be yet constant be our pace
Through all weather we will show our mettle
When we’re put to the test
Our teacher aim for progress, aim for success,
Never on our laurel rest Serve the country
Work and play through school life in a meaningful way,
Dauntless we’ll be rain or shine
We’ll stay together,
We’ll obey, we will strive and do our best.
Serve the nation as loyal citizens.
Strike up the band, strike up the band
Let’s be leaders of our land,
in truth and ever loyalty.
Our motto that will be.
