School History
Woodsville Secondary School was established in 1977. The school was officially declared open on 6 October 1978.
The school valued the well-rounded development of its students. In addition to being ranked as one of the top value-added secondary schools for the express stream, the school also did well in its extra-curricular activities, including air rifle, gymnastics and the uniformed units.
In 1991, Woodsville Secondary School became a single-session school.
In 2004, Woodsville Secondary School merged with MacPherson Secondary School.
