It aims to deepen students’ holistic development through supervised study and peer support as well as sports and games. During supervised study, students are guided by teacher mentors to be self-directed in learning. In the process of learning independently, students practise peer support to help one another in revision and learn together. Throughout the year, students also participate in sports CCA and learn new sports skills in Athletics, Floorball, Volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee. Modular CCA is organized in Houses named after Singapore’s heritage. Each House carries a part of Singapore’s history and embodies virtues that guide our students to grow as independent as well as inter-dependent learners. Launch of BRAVO, a student-fronted Editorial. The APEX English programme aims to stretch the linguistic abilities of students who have shown a strong proficiency and keen interest in the English language. The programme aims to develop empathetic communicators, discerning readers and creative inquirers by encouraging the joy of learning. The three main activities include the Scrabble Club, the Debate Club and the Writing Club. As part of the Writing Club, students will also be trained in creative and journalistic writing, and to collectively pen a student newsletter. To promote teacher-student relationships, Teacher Mentoring was introduced in BRPS.
